Project Description:
- This consultancy was for the Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Program being funded by the European Union, in conjunction with the Anambra State government.
- In order to build capacity for enhanced resource utilization and to manage an anticipated resistance to new policy guidelines introduced in the Ministry of Public Utilities, The European Union contracted the consultants with Institutional Restructuring Capabilities to develop a Change Management Plan for the ministry and develop, facilitate and implement a training program that will guide “Change Leaders” to manage the change process.
- The training component involved developing a Change Management Plan, alongside a capacity building program and facilitating their implementation across all the facets of the organisational structure; it involved organising 3 different workshops over a three month period where 20 Change Leaders and 30 Stakeholders where trained on resources management in a changing work environment.
